A new charity · just getting started

Basics aren't a privilege. They're a right.

Sanitary Grace exists to get sanitary products and other essentials into the hands of people who need them — across the street and across the world. No shame. No gatekeeping. Just essentials.

— or just keep reading. —

/ the why

Period products. Soap. Underwear. Clean water. The basics that decide whether someone goes to school, shows up to work, or just feels human.

Charity participation among young people has been falling for years. We think that's because charity has felt distant — corporate, polished, vaguely guilt-shaped. It doesn't have to feel like that.

This is a small team trying to do something simple: get essentials to people who need them, and be honest about how it's going. We're just getting started, and we'd rather tell you that than pretend otherwise.

If you've got something to give — money, time, or just attention — there's a place for you here.

/ how it works

Built differently.

Three things we promise — and one we don't pretend.

Local partners, always

We don't fly in, drop boxes, and post about it. Communities tell us what's needed. We listen, fund, and let people lead in their own backyards.

Honest about everything

Where the money went. What worked. What didn't. We'd rather show our working than dress up a press release. No black boxes, no opaque overheads.

our promise

For everyone

Periods, hygiene, dignity — these aren't gendered, gated, or graded by who "deserves" them. Whoever you are, if you need essentials, we're for you.

And the thing we don't pretend? We're new. We're small. The numbers are going to be modest at first. That's the honest version.

/ honest answers

Things you might be wondering.

Where does my donation actually go?

Straight to essentials and the logistics of getting them to people. Operating costs (this website, admin, etc.) are covered separately by the founders and small grants. We share progress on our socials so you can see the impact as it happens.

Why focus on sanitary products?

Because period poverty keeps people out of school, out of work and in danger — and it's still treated as a niche issue. It isn't. We start there. We don't stop there.

Do you only help women?

No. We help anyone who needs essentials — men, women, kids, parents, elderly people. Sanitation is for everyone. Dignity is for everyone.

I'm under 18 — can I still volunteer?

Yes, and we'd love that. Most of our team is under 25. You'll just need a parent or guardian to co-sign the volunteer form, and we'll match you to age-appropriate work.

How do you choose where to send things?

We partner with vetted local organisations who tell us what's actually needed. We never ship blindly, never duplicate existing aid, and we let the community lead.

Can my school or workplace run a drive?

Yes — fill the volunteer form and tell us you'd like to host a drive. We'll get back to you with a starter pack and how to get the goods to where they need to go.

So — which will it be?

Both is also an answer.
